1. Free Trial Lessons
We offer a complimentary 30-minute trial lesson to all new students. This allows you to:
- Meet your potential instructor
- Assess our teaching methods
- Determine if our services meet your needs
- Test the online lesson platform
No payment or credit card information is required for the trial lesson.
2. Single Lesson Purchases
Cancellation Before the Lesson
- 24+ hours notice: Full refund or credit toward future lessons
- 12-24 hours notice: 50% refund or full credit toward future lessons
- Less than 12 hours: No refund, but may be rescheduled subject to instructor availability
- No-show: No refund or credit
Dissatisfaction with Lesson
If you are unsatisfied with a single lesson, please contact us within 48 hours. We will:
- Discuss your concerns and expectations
- Offer a complimentary makeup lesson with the same or different instructor
- Provide a full refund if you prefer not to continue
3. Monthly Lesson Packages
Cancellation Policy
- Before first lesson: Full refund
- After first lesson: Prorated refund based on unused lessons
- After 50% completion: No refund, but unused lessons may be credited for up to 60 days
Individual Lesson Cancellations Within Package
- 24+ hours notice: Lesson rescheduled or credited
- Less than 24 hours: Lesson may be forfeited unless due to emergency
- Maximum of 2 cancellations per month allowed
4. Instructor-Initiated Cancellations
If an instructor cancels a lesson, you will automatically receive:
- A makeup lesson at your convenience, OR
- A full refund for that lesson, OR
- Credit toward future lessons
If we cannot provide an acceptable makeup time within 14 days, a full refund will be issued automatically.
5. Technical Issues
Issues on Our End
If technical problems on our side (instructor's internet, equipment failure, platform issues) prevent the lesson from occurring, you will receive:
- Full makeup lesson at no charge, OR
- Complete refund
Issues on Your End
If technical problems on your side prevent the lesson, standard cancellation policies apply. However, if you contact us during the scheduled lesson time:
- We will attempt to resolve the issue
- If unresolvable, the lesson may be rescheduled as a courtesy (not guaranteed)
6. Emergency Situations
We understand that emergencies happen. In cases of documented emergencies (medical, family, natural disasters), we will:
- Waive standard cancellation fees
- Provide full credit or refund
- Work with you to reschedule when you're ready
Documentation may be required for repeated emergency cancellations.
7. Refund Processing
Timeline
- Refund requests are processed within 5-7 business days
- Refunds appear in your account within 7-10 business days after processing
- Processing time may vary depending on your financial institution

- Refunds are issued to the original payment method
- Credits remain on account for up to 12 months
8. Lesson Credits
Lesson credits can be used for:
- Future lessons with any instructor

9. Subscription Cancellations
If you have an ongoing monthly subscription:
- Cancel at least 7 days before your next billing date
- You'll have access to lessons through the end of your current billing period
- No refunds for partial months
- You may restart your subscription at any time
10. Non-Refundable Items
The following are not eligible for refunds:
- Digital lesson materials and sheet music after download
- Completed lessons that you attended
- Third-party course materials or exam fees paid on your behalf
- Custom arrangements or compositions created for you

Instructor Changes
If you're unhappy with your assigned instructor:
- Request a different instructor at no charge
- Try one lesson with the new instructor
- If still unsatisfied, receive a full refund for unused lessons
13. Promotional Offers and Discounts
- Promotional packages may have different refund terms

- Refunded promotional packages may not be eligible for the same discount if repurchased
